At Lakeview Academy, we believe that every child is unique, valuable, and full of potential. Our philosophy is centered on providing a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, loved, and encouraged to grow. We understand that early childhood is an important stage in a child’s life, and we are committed to supporting each child’s development in a caring and meaningful way.
We believe that children grow best when their physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs are supported together. For this reason, our program focuses on the whole child, not only on academic learning. We strive to create an environment where children can develop confidence, independence, kindness, creativity, and a positive attitude toward learning.
Comprehensive K–8 Education
Lakeview Academy is a K-8 private school that first opened its doors in August 2021. Although Lakeview Academy is a newer school, it was built on many years of experience in childcare and education. Our parent company, My Happy House Day Care Corp, has been serving children and families in the childcare and education field since April 2003.
With decades of experience behind us, Lakeview Academy continues the same commitment to quality, care, professionalism, and family partnership that has helped us earn a strong reputation in the community. Our teachers and administration are highly qualified, dedicated, and experienced. They work each day to provide students with a safe, supportive, and meaningful learning environment.
Lakeview Academy was created as an expansion of the strong foundation established at My Happy House Learning Center. As our programs have grown, we have remained committed to maintaining the same high standards, values, and level of care that families have trusted for many years. We are excited to continue growing through Lakeview Academy while providing students with the education, attention, and encouragement they need to succeed.
Our school believes in providing a quality program where each child’s individual needs are recognized and supported with love, patience, and professionalism. We understand that every child learns and develops differently, and our goal is to help each student feel confident, respected, and motivated to reach their full potential.
Lakeview Academy participates in and receives support through programs such as School Readiness, VPK, Florida Pride Scholarship, the Food Program, and Quality Counts. We are proud to be a 4-Star Quality Counts center, sponsored by the Early Learning Coalition and The Children’s Trust. These programs help support our continued commitment to providing a safe, enriching, and high-quality educational environment for children and families.
Over the years, we have worked hard to maintain the quality of our programs and strengthen our connection with the families we serve. We believe that parents are an important part of a child’s educational journey, and we value open communication between families, teachers, and administration.
Lakeview Academy supports an open-door policy and encourages parent involvement. Families are kept informed about curriculum, classroom activities, planning, and school updates. We also welcome parent feedback as we continue to review, improve, and establish policies that support the needs of our students and school community.

After School Programs
At Lakeview Academy, our After School Program is designed to provide students with a safe, positive, and engaging environment after the regular school day. The program gives children the opportunity to relax, play, socialize, complete homework, and participate in meaningful activities that support their continued growth.
Students are given time for active play, indoor and outdoor games, and creative activities that encourage independence, imagination, and cooperation. Many activities allow children to make choices, explore their interests, and build confidence through self-directed and group experiences.
The program also provides time for students to work on homework and practice responsibility with the support and encouragement they need. Our goal is to create a balanced after-school experience where children can enjoy themselves, stay engaged, and continue developing socially, emotionally, and academically.
At Lakeview Academy, we believe that after-school time should be both productive and enjoyable. Our program helps students end their day in a caring and supportive environment where they feel comfortable, encouraged, and connected.
Extracurricular activities
At Lakeview Academy, we believe students benefit from opportunities to explore interests beyond the classroom. Our extracurricular activities are designed to give students meaningful experiences that support creativity, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
Throughout the year, students may have the opportunity to participate in different after-school activities. These activities may vary from year to year and can include programs such as karate, chess, dance, and other enrichment opportunities based on availability and student interest.
Our goal is to provide activities that encourage students to try new things, develop their talents, build friendships, and enjoy a well-rounded school experience. At Lakeview Academy, we are proud to support student growth both inside and outside the classroom.
SUMMER
CAMP
Lakeview Academy families may also be interested in the Summer Camp program offered through My Happy House Learning Center, the original center where our educational foundation began. This program is designed to give children a fun and enriching summer experience filled with learning, creativity, exploration, and memorable activities.
The Summer Camp program includes hands-on activities, exciting weekly themes, opportunities for social interaction, and fun experiences that help children stay active, engaged, and curious throughout the summer. Children have the opportunity to enjoy creative projects, themed activities, special events, and adventures that make summer both educational and enjoyable.
